This is the city of Uruk. We've created our own version of the ancient mythological city from the Gilgamesh epic.

The city is actually a large dam, so water flows through it, providing energy and work. But Gilgamesh, who lives in the palace on top doesn't really care about his subjects, they live in the poor area's below, closer to the low river.

In my gallery is another painting showing the insides of one of the buildings

I was looking for things to do with the Gilgamesh epic and I saw this! your vision of how the city could have looked is a brilliant idea. If only I could take the time to draw such good mystical architecture.
